HISTORY

In Berry Veg de Baja S. A. de C. V., we are a solid and competent mexican agricultural company dedicated to the production and marketing of vegetables always seeking balance between the environmental and social enviroments, as it on them depends the permanence of the company.

Located on the Delegación Municipal of Camalú, in the south of the Ensenada county, in Baja. Built by the Castañeda Castro family, pioneer in the region of San Quintín. More than 30 years of experience in agriculture has allowed them to become leaders in the field, obtaining national and international awards for the quality of their products.

Spin and Carreer
Since its origins Berry Veg de Baja, S.A. de C.V. has been dedicated to the vegetable produce, which consists on sowing, planting, cultural work, harvesting and distribution through the commercialization of its products getting into different markets, both in Mexico and in the U.S.

The Company has access to highly efficient and sophisticated equipment to ensure the correct abiding of the processes, taking care at every moment of the different security and hygiene aspects and maintaining to date the compliance with applicable normativities to this activity, both plant health and labor.

SUPERVISION AND TRAINING

Supervision and training of personnel involved in the production process is carried out by the heads or managers of each area who in turn have received training, either by professionals who work within the company and/or from external consultants.

Thanks to what we mention above, producing high yields at excellent quality levels has been established within the company, thus allowing us to gain preference in both domestic and international markets.

SECURITY AND HYGINE NORMS

The use of eco-friendly restrooms in all areas of the field that intervene in the production process is mandatory, for which we employ ex profeso staff members that carry out this norm. Also the washing and sterilization of hands for all personnel after each and every activity done outside the field of culture, i.e. arrival time, food intake, breaks, restroom breaks and visits to healthcare department.

STAFF TRANSPORT

The access of personnel and field staff to the work areas, is only done via vehicular transport, subhired by the Company, which allows our vigilance and security department to verify and prevent any individual or vehicle alien to the company access to the production areas, safeguarding compliance with safety standards and hygiene.
